Service Description
This class offers a gentle, supportive introduction to yoga with a special focus on back health. It’s designed for students of all levels — including absolute beginners — who want to build strength, increase mobility, and learn how to support spinal wellbeing through safe, accessible movement. Each class includes postures to stabilize the body, strengthen the back, and align the bones with care. You’ll receive precise cueing, use props (blocks, bolsters, blankets, belts, and chairs) as needed, and be guided through thoughtful sequences that support balance and reduce the risk of strain or injury. We’ll also explore breath awareness to help the body and nervous system shift into a state of rest and repair. Whether you’re managing chronic back pain, seeking preventative support, or simply want to learn in a slow and welcoming environment, this class provides both tools and community. Please note: students with acute pain should consult their healthcare provider before attending.
