When you were born, you arrived into a precise planetary pattern — and took on its karma as your own. This pattern – your birth chart – is seeded into the fertile soil of your chakras.

And then the planets plowed on.

The present-moment planetary positions create conditions — the symbolic heat and water — for people, things and events to come into your life. The way you react or respond to these is your karma, the pattern sown into your chakras.

Every month, we gather at the studio to tend the karmic garden.

We begin with the current sky — the location of the Sun and Moon in the sidereal zodiac.

The Sun illuminates a constellation each month, bringing an area of life into season.

The Moon circles the entire zodiac each month, its New and Full phases landing in a nakshatra — a lunar mansion with its own shakti, its own power.

Knowing where the Sun and Moon are is like knowing the weather of your life. This knowing doesn't change what's growing — but it can change how you tend it.

So, we turn to our charts.

One at a time, we project a chart for the group to see. We observe the current planetary placements to see what's growing in your particular patch of the garden — and draw on the principles of Vedic philosophy for guidance. You'll leave with something specific to shine the light of your awareness on in the month ahead.

Chart Chat normally meets the 4th Monday of each month. This month we're gathering on Thursday, May 28th instead from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Participation is limited to six, so pre-registration is encouraged — or simply show up. As long as there's time, your chart will be read.
