Many people experience chronic back pain. Mine started when I herniated at disc in my lumbar spine back in 1996. I remember not being able to stand, sit, or lie down without intense pain. Eventually, the pain radiated all the way down my leg as the herniated disc pressed on the sciatic nerve.
I'm so glad that today, my back is in good shape. Yoga, walking, and mindfulness have helped me maintain my back health without any surgeries or drugs.

With some time and effort your back can feel so much better too. In this class we focus on gentle backbends, twists, and core strengthening asanas which strengthen and lengthen you back. Doing this with mindfulness is a way to help you prevent further injuries.
